Fonts are a huge fingerprinting vector. We built a font allowlist and font-visibility controls; by design, Firefox's fingerprinting protection avoids using your locally installed one-off fonts on the web. This dramatically shrinks the entropy of "which fonts do you have?" without breaking normal sites.
